                   Reality shows need reality check??

Are the reality shows ‘Real on Reel’ or ‘Reel on Real’? Or it’s just the self created drama that touches the chord of highly emotional Indians to win the list of top channel or show. Today, these reality shows are all over the channels and running extremely successfully.  Reality shows are the win –win situation for everyone, be it a channel, viewer, or contestants. And the one who achieved the most out of the show is contestants; they get the chance to showcase their talent.
Reality show has taken over TV since decades and now the people are trying to imitate the celebrity who they watch on TV. People are still glued to watching TV even if it is giving them guilty pleasure to be the part of someone’s emotional and personal life.  The craze of reality show hits the record of being the top channel by celebrating the success of winners or by seeing them crying or failing in some show.  The fact that the contestants are ordinary people and audiences have high chance to connect with them is the biggest triumph card for the show.

These track of reality show changes with the passage of time. The viewers changed and the whole scenario of contestant’s. Earlier reality shows like Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Antakshari and Tol Mol ke Bol, which are made in India used to have only the youngsters as there contestants but later after copying the international formats like KBC, Jhalak Dikh La Jaa, Kya Aap Panchvi Pass Hai, and Dance India Dance, it not only attracted the superstars of Bollywood but also the innocent children.
Reality shows while giving children the feel of competitiveness and the critical thinking about the life also somehow vanishing their time to enjoy in school as kid and the innocence to be with the friend and not with the competitor.

A show like Big Boss, depicts a very shallow behavior of contestants sometimes which is not only disturbs the mind set of youngster but the children too.
The mother of a 4 year girl ‘Myra’ says, “Myra copy same steps when she watches Gangnam style song on TV, this shows how much  she is consuming from it, and these days the shows show some nuisance stuff in the name of reality show, which may even harm the thinking of her at such small age.”

It says, people act the way of what they consume, Reality shows have brought up some of the real talent of India. Certainly they have plus side too, shows like Satyamev Jayate, Emotional Attyachar,  which is not only revealing the real side of the person but they create awareness about the society and  as the title of Emotional Attyachar say, dekho sekho bacho, which gives the sense of awareness by again touching the emotional stint of the person. DID, a famous dance show help children to learn under some of the top choreographers but also help them to gain the sense of worth at such smaller age.

Famous Psychologist says, “Its true what you show to children, they catches really fast and reacts the same ways, but it also gives the strength to face the problems at later stage and helps them to achieve the greater success.”

People seems to be drawn by reality shows because they can connect to someone at personal level, while these shows are giving opportunities to showcase their talent, it also taking away some of the precious moments of life by not enjoying or experiencing it.

Make a new ... COOL

MAKE A NEW “COOL”

COOL… This word allows you to do all the things which you don’t want to do or go for it. Here is an incident that promotes or says…I do because every cool kid does.

I asked a guy, why do you smoke or drink? He replied, because every cool kid does. Is this “cool” word encourages you to do something which is not good for you or for yourself or trying to be a “cool happening guy” leads to do unnecessary stuff to girls.

“So perhaps men are the worst thing that ever happens to women, but men are not born that way. They learn it. Even well-intentioned, responsible young men are capable of making terrible decisions if they are not taught, prepared, and encouraged to do otherwise.”

Still women don’t feel safe when men are around them. But what make them conscious? Here are some quotes by women saying what made them feel fear. When asked, Girls replied that “The most prominent one is when some male member of the society keeps the prying eyes on them which prevent them from having fun. Speaking up about sexual harassment is another thing which women find it difficult to do.”

Every girl want to, and it’s their right to go for late night parties, take up more public spaces, to walk alone at India Gate and have an ice cream, not be judged by whatever clothes they are wearing, taking the last train for home without thinking of any companion, go to police station to report for crime without the fear of getting harassed by the police, stand freely in public space without covering their body with their bag or hair, taking general compartment and not specially women compartment, to wear red lipstick and to bring sanitary napkins without covering it with black plastic bag, to pass smile back at someone who smiles and greets her.

But all this starts with “me” and not amorphous “them”.

This reality of daily life limits women's freedom to get an education, to work, to participate in politics or to simply enjoy their own neighborhood. And, if you are a woman, expect to be subject to unwelcomed lower back press and rubs from the male passenger standing behind you in that crowded bus or train. If you are in the aisle seat, expect an exposure to the unwanted attentions of men who want to stand perpendicular to you and uncomfortably close.
To all the girls…
Raising one’s voice makes one vulnerable to the risk of retaliation. Take that risk. Speak up.  Stop believing that such harassment is an inevitable or expected part of your life. Encourage and support other women to speak up.  Even if a women walks naked on the street, a man has no right to touch her. Let’s teach our sons to respect women from an early age and as part of their education.

To Everyone…

At the end of the day, we wanted our tiny, fragile, helpless baby boys to grow up to be kind. Strong, resilient, athletic, funny … but above all else, kind.

We have created this.  We have allowed this.  We choose not to demand more from our young men, because we see how big they grow in the spotlight.  We gave them adult power, without instilling in them an adult sense of responsibility and ethics. The result? Many boys grow up feeling ashamed of their emotions and become men who can’t communicate well—bottling up or lashing out—which makes it hard for them to relate to others.

When boys are able to understand how someone else feels, it makes them better friends now and better husbands and dads in the future.

Behavior is contagious!!!

Sugar Plums & Saddle Shoes

"Happy women is a myth"

Heard and read dis proverb but did any one try to find out why people/man say this.....

Being a woman I am not smug with dis statement. But eager to know why people say dis.
On few things I agree that yes, women are perfect blend of enigmatic, clandestine, scruffy, ostentatious and witty personalities........
and also capricious she is..

but but but....
She is panacea..!!
She is endowed with stoic quality, believes in making you feel comfortable and happy, sheer off her things to work for others.
not just she is beautiful but also has happy mind and positive soul...!

Every lil nuance of her is to make you feel beatitude.

Could you ever imagine your life without her???
I don't think so, because from birth to death she is a part of you as a mother, wife, daughter, sister, anything. she is there for you always.

The one who takes cares of you, tries to b with you when you needed her the most, sacrifices to cheer your soul, believes in you blindly, becomes insomnia thinking about you, remain peckish whole day for your long life,
If you ever get hurt, tears roll down from her eyes..

Be proud to be a women..!!
Love yourself, stay happy n stay blessed... you rock..!!

And all the men...
Realize her worth in your life n treat her like princess b'coz she deserves it, show her heaven.... zenith of happiness.

MONDAY BLUES..!!!

I hate monday.. but I think it's mutual!!!

MONDAY...
Hearing or thinking about this word....d 1st thing that comes to your mind or in imagination is....ohh no... its Monday...what the hell??...I think even d week days r now reeling.
As I am writing this on monday so I can feel the pain..lol. But dun be scared because its just a Monday..and look at the brighter side.. MONDAY HAPPENS ONLY ONCE IN A WEEK.

Nothing ruins your day..asap u realize..its monday...this is the 1st thought as soon as we wake up...
After being epitome of your company for 5 hardworking days...you emancipate yourself for the next two days....the awesome and interesting weekend arises...
the glare sunlight and gruesome attack of thoughts comes up with euthenasia monday..

As I go thru social and other websites, people are now become inscrutable b'coz of their Monday morning blues. They constantly censure this day and want to sheer off this day...from a week...bt then dey will hate Tuesday...and also will emulate the same path.
But if every week you’re depressed by the idea of heading into work, it’s time to make some changes. Sure, a drastic change could be in order, but before you hand in your two-week’s notice, try these modest but effective mood-boosting techniques:

>Start following your week's high priority projects on friday

>Enjoy your weekend!!no working allowed!!

>Set your alarms 15min earlier than usual. That small chunk of time will make you feel less frazzled all day.

>Wear something that make you feel confident n happy.

>Smile at every one you pass on your way to desk, greet them by name.

>Complete one major task before you open your facebook or your mail.

>Take short breaks after every 90mins so you dun burn yourself out.

>Make monday night plans, having something fun to look forward will boost you all day long.

But Monday is not the day to be back at the grindstone. Monday is the day to be back to your passion again
Kick ass everyday..!!!

SO WISH U A VERY HAPPY MONDAYS FROM NOW..!!
